£6.5 million for Jay Rodriguez

Post by skeletor »

Burnley must be laughing their arse off.

A big risk for Southampton to spend that much on a young unproven player.

Didn't know anything about this? Southampton forked out £7m?! Risky considering it is their first year up in the Prem. Would have thought that could have been spent better elsewhere. Saying that Southampton ahve been bank rolled for a few years now but they have somehow gone under the radar with it.

We actually aren''t only people who seem happy with it are board :|
We need to keep him where he is because we don't have another 20 goal a season striker
if he does go which looks pretty much done and dusted now will just have to hope Eddie gets the money to spend.

Certainly not for his goal scoring ability.

He did OK for us to be fair. He did not fit our style so it was unfair to judge him last season. But he is a bit shit and looks lazy. Whether he is lazy who knows.

Got 15 goals last season I think, just none of them were in the sodding league.

I think most people will remember him for knocking united out of the cup
and not much more.
