I would imagine so, have to see what the game is like.

If this is how much they update and old and "stable" game, what are they going to be like with a new game with loads of bugs they hadn't caught during testing.

I was asking myself the same thing. Wondering if they have thought of a proper admin tool for the new game. It will probably take a while before third party add-ons are available.
(Also hope that custom maps can be converted to the new version)
