been on a diet for about 4 weeks now because im going on hols in 4 weeks time and i dont want to get harpooned in the sea or sprayed with dispersants ...so i have had mega salad sessions and stuff.. lost a stone and 2 pound so far.. i think the key has been swapping my usual lash (beer) for polish vodka... the bisson one with the blade of grass in it... zoo-brov-kaa you say it i think. 1 can of beer is about 220 calories so 5 cans a night=1100 kcals 8O thats like an extra days intake of food at night. vodka only has 50kcal per pub measure so.. here is my recipe for a nice long drink without all the bulk..

1 shot of vodka over ice
fresh orange juice
diet lemonade

seems to work and still gets you lashed :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Easy to lose weight, just most people don't have the motivation or expect to lose a huge amount of weight overnight.

Good on you though, impressive losses.

For anyone interested, to lose weight you just need to be calorie deficient (i.e. don't eat so much) :lol:

Or you can have an apicoectomy like I did. I dropped under 12 stone for first time in years, I was about 12st7-10lb depending on time of day or whether or not I had taken a shit yet :lol:

In all seriousness though, as Skel said, you just need to eat less. And don't be afraid to eat a little more if you've done some exercise. I have no idea how those anorexic's survive, I've been eating normally for 3-5 days now and I am still absolutely fooked from the 10 days before that. Nackered every day and feeling like crap, Monday was one of the hardest Monday's I've ever done. I was exhausted by 2 o'clock 8O

oh forgot to say ive cut my meals in half as well..loads less grub and all boring stuff as well..
grab 3 ounces of gringo and smoke the death out of it, should lose a stone by the end of the week.

down to 16. 2 now from 17.10 but i cheated last night and went for a curry... still no beer in the week on the voddy still... :mrgreen:

I had two night of beer and curry Friday/Sat. But now I', on the healthy stuff again. Also started Creatin yesterday so I'll be going beer free for a couple of weeks. Lots of training this week 8O

You need to spoil yourself every now and then Sparks. That is the problem with a lot of people on diets. They cut out all the "nice" stuff in exchange for boring healthy ryvitas and then once they fall off the wagon so to speak they go back to the old ways. If you treat yourself every now and again you don't feel the need to sneak those crisps or chocolate bar in. A curry and beer once a fortnight isn't going to hurt anyone as long as you stick to your guns for the rest of the time.
