Re: Payday The Heist
I'm level 4. Hell yeah. Only did that bank level. It's a ridiculous hard game. I finished it first time in 20 odd mins but the bots are dumb. Apart from one who revived me after a load of seats jumped in on my face. Fucking police are relentless though. Would be better to have some real tactics and positioning etc than just shoot an unlimited amount of poorly trained policemen.

Told you it's hard. Real tactics would be better, but if you play it on a harder level it's not just more cops, also better tactics.
I'm on level 44 now and that makes it alot better, you have better weapons and more ammo.
Never play single player. I did that at first, but it's nothing compared to human players. Just set up a game and in less then 15 seconds you have 3 players joining you. Sometimes you have really good players which makes it easier ofcourse.
Me and Skel did a game on Heat Street with 2 others in 16 minutes. Take my word for it...that is quick. Sometimes the same level on the same difficulty is/feels a lot harder than other times.
If you have 4 players using their mic and they all play with tactics (not running like a moron and die so you have to be patched up by your team mates risking their lives to help you), it's a very good game.

Re: Payday The Heist
I have played the bank level, single player, no bots on hard and opened the gates but died before I was able to get the thermite down.
It is sort of luck of the draw in where the police come in to the building. If they only come through the front door, then you will get the thermite down with ease. If they come through those windows at the front in the offices by the drill room then the game gets very hard even on easy. You also occasionally get them coming in from the balcony above the drill room.
The tasers are really annoying if you get caught by one. Bulldozers can be a pain if you are low on ammo as you really have to pummel them in the face. Shields are alright as long as someone can get round them but you occasionally get two coming together side by side which makes it really hard.
I think anything less than 20 mins on any of the levels is going to be a quick game.

Who's up for some "heisting" tonight?

Me, need to level up a bit.
Thinking of getting the DLC too. Not sure yet...convince me

Haven't looked at the technical upgrade path. (They are here - http://payday.wikia.com/wiki/Upgrades)
I'm going to hold off, see if CS:GO takes over first. Then Borderlands 2 as well.
