I'm thinking I should probably cancel my pre-order too as I probably won't have time to play it until next year which may well have had a price drop by then.

Probably won't though and will end up playing it rather than working...

All the reviews I have read have been positive. All them pretty much say the same thing and that is that the game is pretty much the same as the original but with some nice refinements.

Gunzerker and Assassin are the best classes. Lilith and Roland have taken a step back and aren't as good.

More NPCs, more funny one-liners, more guns.

Apparently a lot harder on single player. If you are by yourself you will find it hard to beat enemies of the same level or higher than you by even one level. Hordes of enemies are apparently more common as well as some being able to call in reinforcements as well as some others spawning new creatures.

Also if you are a low level you will really struggle to play with higher level people due to the way the difficulty is handled which means you will need to play with people the same level as you.

I liked the look of Assassin class. Gunzerker looks like a ramped up Soldier without the turrets. I loved my Solider in the first game and didn't really like the others after that so will be interesting to see.

I'm leaving my order on as it was £23 i think at its cheapest (or £23.99) so it isnt worth cancelling it now - in a backward sort of way.

Plus, I hve no interest in any other games at moment other htan Guild Wars 2 which I find a little boring. Every other game i have is single player so its no biggy when I get around to palying them. Crysis will be 10 years old by the time I finish it

I reckon Assassin for me. Can probably manage an hour or so a night around my training.

Gunzerker is based on the Bezerker but has guns rather than fists. The Assassin is now the "melee" character.

Roland was the soldier and the turret no longer has a shield (get it on the skill tree). The turret with shield + health regeneration + ammo regeneration was brilliant.

I think that was the reason I hated the other classes, because soldier was solo easy mode. Great utility, survival and good enough damage. As soon as I tried another class there was something I missed from the soldier.

Quite possibly the worst review ever done (no not IGN this time) - http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2012/09/ ... cross-ove/
