Down where I am there are a lot of bus routes but the lights only change when a bus is coming. Why on earth would they make the lights stop if there is no bus? It's as stupid as putting a level crossing down every 5 minutes even if there isn't a train coming.

they do have the ones that change for buses and taxis... but this one particular set ( which happens to be on a main route thru cov ) just keeps changing bus or no bus.... they have put it in..ripped it out.. re- did it again last year.... i get the feeling its sort of an experiment... i mean who do you complain to about ?? who actually makes these decisions.. local council of gov ????

Starte work today and got bored. Started reading The Mail article and got bored. Started reading the met office article and got bored. I see a plateau of bored. Although depending on when you start measuring the level of boredness could give a misleading result of just how bored I actually am!
