Defoe is injured too. Oxlaide-Chamberlain is apparently not match fit.

Is Carroll still out? Haven't been watching much Premiership football this season. He looked really good in his debut for West Ham.

Nugent must be upset that he didn't get a second call up.

Haha especially after his quality finish against Forest. It's a case of "if that were Rooney they'd be showing it 10 times an hour on SSN". Class finish. I think England should show Wenger what to do and stick Walcott up front.

I only really saw Welbeck do alright at Euros but that could just be me not liking him at all...and Rooney will always be called in
easily the best striker out of the 6 mentioned in my opinion but Defoe isn't far behind him.

Forgot Defoe was injured but I'm sure he played against City? Unless that's where he got injured.
Pretty sure Carroll is fit and still playing for West Ham but don't quote me on that and surely Austin would have been called
up before Nugent regardless?

Walcott and Defoe were both injured during the weekend.

There are so many things that happen in the Championship/League One/League Two that you see on the Football League show which get a single showing and little to no mention, not even a replay, that they would be creaming themselves over on Match of the Day.

A lot of press today and yesterday about Zaha.

Apparently Jose Mourinho is planning on coughing up £20m for Zaha which I imagine is bullshit. More likely that Walcott goes to Madrid and Arsenal go for Zaha.

Still early days. I don't know who else they would go after.

I think AVB is a shit manager. His voice is too deep and gravelly, players probably don't know what he is saying most of the time.

Lol He just seems to be next in line after Jose leaves the club... only Porto and Chelsea
but I don't think He's shit, Seems like he only knows how to manage players from portugal... Spurs will probably bring in
a couple in January.
