The Withdean was a really really shit stadium. The team changing rooms were portacabins and Brighton had been playing there for years and they rarely sold out the ground. There are no other clubs nearby so there isn't really much reason for them not selling out. Norwich are in the same situation and have a huge fan base that regularly attend games.

But that wasn't the case with the Withdean. It was so shit no-one wanted to go. Since the Amex has been completed all the closet "fans" now support their local club but I am sure there are a fair few who will still be looking at the scores of Liverpool/Arsenal etc.

With the backing we have though you'd imagine if we can get up we'd do a West Brom and yoyo for a few seasons. Not bothered about ticket prices - I rarely go now anyway as its too expensive as it is already...
