Never played the first one. Heard that loads of people were shitting themselves playing it though.

yeah very atmospheric ... you have to adjust sound and gamma at the start and use headphones..very spooky in parts.. and you go insane if you stay in the dark to long..so always looking for candles/lamp oil .. second game was very poor in comparison... rush job to meet deadlines i expect.
