hobbit the legend of bad cgi

Post by sparksy »

sorry got the title wrong there its the desolation of smeg or whatever.... i gave up after half an hour. the orcs looked like they were out of a ps2 game cut scene... the actors were running towards a river then were in the woods ??? really bad editing... and when they were on the hillside talking about the werewolf thingy the set looked like a bad 1960 start trek episode... so i gave up

Sounds surprising. Are you sure you were watching a DVD release and not a pre-release?

I don't know what you watched but the 1080p version I watched was good!
It must have been a bad copy?

I saw the HFR version at cinema. Certainly wasn't dodgy CGI. It's not everyone's taste but it doesn't look bad. The scene outside the prancing pony at the start was incredibly life like. It was like looking at it though a window.
