Boardwalk Empire

Post by skeletor »

Managed to get through seasons 1 + 2 and the first episode of season 3 over the Xmas break.

Seemed to start off with a lot of tits then gradually turned in to a "normal" period drama with a bit more violence. Wonder if that was a ploy to get people to watch at the beginning.

Good series though (so far).

Worth watching until the end. I think the final series was clever albeit a little short. They aren't afraid to kill characters off that is for sure

Will certainly watch till the end.

Seems to be more on par with SoA than Breaking Bad. Very good, but not great.

Richard Harrow I think his name was sparks. He was a lot of people's favourite character. Boardwalk was one of the first shows I started to watch, even before Breaking Bad I think. I'd probably rank BE seasons in order of favourites as

2>5>3>4>1

Compared to other shows if agree between breaking bad and SoA. And comparing just the first 5 seasons of probably slot it somewhere on par with Dexter for how much I enjoyed it although massively different of course!
