2015/2016 Premiership

Post by Revolver »

Make a new thread for a new prediction league if you like but didn't want to keep going in the old thread. Plus there will only be me and you this time around Skel! We could always do a full fixture list or something?

Anyway, I won't be suggesting we finish above palace this year. We sack the manager under dubious circumstances awhilst Palace are happy under Pardew signing players like Cabaye and now I've just read you're linked with Loic Remy too. Although he's odds on to go to Turkey the odds not shorten for no particular reason. Got to be an advantage being a London club. You can't quite compete with Chelsea and Spurs yet but you can sign these fringe players that like being in/near London.

We can still have Burnley's Championship matches.

Cabaye is a great signing but the better news for me today was that Dann is apparently signing a new contract. He's irreplaceable at the moment. I don't think Remy will come to us but there's mutterings of us looking at Austin which would be a decent signing.

Just been told that bets have stopped for new Leicester manager with O'Neil coming back. Guess you're a bit happier with that over the possibility of Dyche.

I think O'Neill has it in him but we'll see what happens. We had bids rejected for Austin already but I read he wants to stay in London so CP might be a good choice for him. He can move on to Chelsea/Arsenal again later if he's good enough. Just stay away from Spurs Charlie!

Read that his family is in Wiltshire and Bournemouth are looking at him.

Apparently Dann's new contract is £60k a week, 2nd behind Cabaye who's apparently on £65k. A few years ago our highest player was according to the papers on £18k. If we get relegated we're going to be fucked again.

Can't really see you getting relegated though. There will be far worse teams than Palace in the Prem this up coming season.

Super Claudio....

Bit of an odd choice, my immediate reaction was "you're going down".

Don't think he'll be that bad. He's always been sacked for not winning stuff but I don't think he's really relegation fodder. Still disappointed not to have Laudrup or something. O'Neill would have got the fans on board for sure. Ranieri should attract a few names which is what the Thai's were looking for. Think we'll be looking at pushing for top 10 or sat at the bottom rather than in between. Should be interesting to see who he can sign because with this squad i cant see he's really the kind of manager to get the best from players!

His Greece stint doesn't count
