gaming keyboard with ps4

got my youngest a gaming keyboard because he wants to play ps4 games with a mouse and keyboard. Looked at a few tutorial vids on how to do it on you tube all seemed quite easy, he wanted to play rainbow 6 with it. Having loads of hassle and it doesn't seem to want to play ball, the make is HAVIT which i found pretty funny as it is pretty close to AVE-IT. It is meant to be compatable etc but have had no joy, online im looking at this titan one thing but everyone else seems to have set it up without it ?

yeah looks like its the only way for it to work, i id wonder if any games would pick anything up, like punkbuster etc... he may get banned or kicked ..which would be mildly amusing
