Am hearing that, people need to decide what two or three things they are good at and adopt them into a stratagy. If we know how our team mates play we know where there going to be and what sort of cover we have. I think we should get 3-4 main tactics set-up and practice them like mad, give them remeberable names so instinctively we all know what one another are doing. But also implementing your own role within the tactic.
So for example if your good at rushing then you lead the pack on a rush, if its your turn to lead you need to be head talker on vent. and in direct coms with the anchor. We will always need that anchor man spoting the enemy, on every tactic. Someone with a good vent set-up. I think biz was doing a good job, must be that cockney voice that made me listen...? it was a shame that we werent always listening to him because most of the time he was right on what they were up2.

With more practice and better coms i think we could challenge them to a win, maybe not on asstec, Dust2 though definately.

We maybe need more match practice with a less skilful side so we can at least gain confidence.

9v9 was just too much really, its alot better game when its a smaller 5v5 or 6v6 we could maybe get 2 match teams trained in tactics and have a mini war with each other, one night a week every week.

just ideas..

We do have tactics for dust2 but like sparksy said in another post, the tactics we have are useless for a 9vs9 brawl.

To be honest I think some co-ordinated nading would of worked wonders with 9 people.

Especially on Aztec, I said to go through double doors and throw a nade across the river, that would kill 2 or 3 people with their rifles, that would mean you could focus guns on the walkway and get the bomb down.

And as for my performance on dust2....as CT I got 5 of those kills in 1 round.

And vambo, you have done the last screen wrong. That is aztec not dust2.

I wreckon we can take em 5 vs 5 on dust 2 if we used tactics. Almost every 1on1 i had on dust2 i won but there was always fuckin 5 or 6 people behind the person you killed and your left there not knowing who to shoot at so you just spray and hope for the best.

So agreed 9 vs 9 is to much but its fun to do now and again. I say organise a 5 vs 5 and we get on the server an hour or so before hand, practise what tactics where gonna use, then own them.

No, just open them up in photoshop go to save as web and chose JPEG High. Fraps captures them too big. I got the FRAPS files down from around 1.2-1.3mb to 300-400kb by slighly lowering the quality of the picture but it was still readable.

Hello guys I enjoyed the match on Sunday...but I feel I do have to apologise for my performance on the Aztec map. I started ok on dedust but got worse as the match went on sorry guys....

But anyway yes tactics: on dedust 2 i think we have to avoid camping inside b. cos they know where we hide they flash and nade us and with so many of them we were screwed...i think if we wait outside the double doors till we know they are rushing B then use the nades (like skel said) and a few flashes then we can run in and pick them off...well in theory anyway...just a thought..as a tactic for 9v9. that should save us (like metric said) having to pick off one in a 1 v 1 then have about 4 or 5 of them follow up cos you have no chance then...i found flashes helped in that 9v9 carnage so flashes and nades could be key...

5v5 would be good to practice and gain confidence.....and i can't remember who said it but someone mentioned make two teams from our clan to practice on each other...like team one and team 2...so we can practice on each other...only problem would be communication? can't have both teams using the same ventrilo server. maybe there is another server on another program...I don't know any others cos im a noob with that kinda stuff......

but anyway just thoughts....

thanks for the match on sunday anyway i enjoyed it....even if i was dead most of the time :(

Our vent server has multiple rooms so we will be able to split comms between the two teams easily enough. Think 5v5 4v4 or 3v3 will be a good idea depending on how many show up, should be good practice, also go through a load of knife and pistol only rounds to get abit of practice in. Also try using weapons you dont normally, if a match is going badly and funds are short you need to be able to use whatever you can afford proficiently...

Inter clan matches should be fine numbers wise.

Knives are strange. We can knife people easily if they are aiming at us with a M4 but as soon as someone else has a knife we are shit. Knives I personally do not see as hugely important.

Pistols are though. They determin the cash flow for the next few rounds.

Cool I agree with Skele on the knives round, who cares who we are first where gonna have to play as both teams anyway. Also you have to remember that unless you hittin in the head, pistols are considerably weaker than rifles, i can fire one bullet from across the map with an AK and pop someone in the head but i keep trying to do it with a deagle and it never works, there just to weak. Trying avoid shooting people from a distance if you aiming at an unaware enemy, get closer then shoot, i dont know how many times i put 8-10 bullets into an enemy with a pistol only to cause below 80% damage decause they are so far away.

On AoP last night when i first joined i bought a deagle, from T spawn i shot down at that chap [BE] with a deagle through the double doors, i caused 1 damage, FUCKIN 1!!!, with the most powerful handgun on the game. So get as close as you can with them. ( And avoid the urge to knife )
