Help please!

I keep getting an error when trying to launch counterstrike and I just can't get it fixed. I tried to back-up game files, reinstalled CS:S, but nothing worked. It still gives the same error. This is the translated version:

The instruction on 0x0fcf3e2c refers to memory on 0x0d7aa1a0. The read- or writeprocessing ("read") on the memory has failed.

Click OK to close the program.

I hope any of you know what to do, because I'm not that good with computers and I'm out of ideas.

Sounds like you've run out of memory

right click properties on css, in launch options for css type: heapsize 50000 and try that. If that doesnt work try lowering the number even more (its the amount of memory accocated to css)

How much memory do you have in your comp?
what operating system you running?
start task manager and see what your available memory is.

I can't find launch options.

My memory is:
Total: 523260
Available: 133160
Systemcache (amount of memory being used for the system?): 217076

Do I need a new memory card?

512mb ram only 128mb still available.

Download this and run the program. When it asks, tell it to save a log.

Either save the log and attach it or copy and paste the text inside the log file on to a new post.

thats not enought to boot css you have to either free up some memory or get some more?

I think like skel must be thinking too you have spyware on your system.

If you get on vent one night im sure skel or myself might be able to help you.

I do have Hijack this myself I think. I will ask my dad to run a scan. (He knows more about anti-spyware tools etc.)

It is likely that something is running that shouldn't be. Run adaware etc as well.

Did the scan last night, but only found a downloader. It didn't seem to be the thing causing the problem though, because I still can't get on.
