My ping is 490+!?

Hi all,

I normaly have a ping around 20 and now it it's above 490!!
I'm not downloading or anything like that.

Is there anyone who knows how this could happen?
(I believe METRIC had the same problem)

Hey liquid, yeah i had same prob, and i couldnt do anything to resolve it. Ping just went back to normal day later. And it was AoP only that my ping was so high.

Mine was doing it the other day. Turned out while I was at work my router lost sync and reconnect at 300kbps rather than 3000kbps.

My ping is also high only at AoP.
This sucks big time, because I want to play tonight

We may be getting a replacement/another server soon.

My ping is always incredibly low on the AoP-server.

But that's of little use to me now, because I can't get on anyway.

server is in london and i live in coventry and my ping is about 17. the only time i have had a high ping is when i used an old on board graphics chip when i first played css years ago, or if bit torrent has kicked in, must be to do with local exchange to our server.
