The Biggest Ever BitTorrent Leak: MediaDefender Internal Emails Go Public

When TorrentFreak reported that Media Defender (MD) was behind the video site MiiVi, they cast doubt on us. Now, in what is surely the biggest BitTorrent leak ever, nearly 700mb of MD’s emails have gone public. When MD’s Randy Saaf found out we rumbled MiiVi he said, “This is really fucked.” This is too, but much more so.

For those of you who don't know MediaDefender are a company that works with the RIAA and MPAA to track down pirates who upload videos and music to the net and sue them.

MediaDefender are now completely fucked with 700MB worth of emails been leaked on to the net.

Peer guardian does work, you just need to disable it to update itself, pretty silly really.

What's peer guardian? a torrent site or a downloader?

peer guardian is essentially a firewall blocking certain ip's from connecting to your computer. the ip's are from the riaa and mpaa and universities who want to try to sue you.

Could be usefull since they dont like pirate downloads... but the chance that they can bust your ass is not that big, their is a way they can hack Bitlord (v2 beta) users since you can see the numbers of users, and i belive that if they sould be able to find you and sue you they must hack some networks and if they hack the "eDonkey" and these kind of networks they can probably get ip to all users... but still can they sue you if they has comitted a crime themself while they was trying to get the users? becuase i dont think its legal to hack networks without right, they maby can with the goverments right and stuff.
U remeber was it 2 years ago the Swedish police did find and confiscate the "www.ThePirateBay.org" servers, it was by the American governement influence the police did do it so maby they can get some help from the governement to do hack and find people who is downloading illegal.
