Hi guys
Just wondering if it is possible to send some funding in other formats, i.e not Paypal, as my card dosent work with it, till it gets upgraded (Damm you Natwest with silly solo cards). Iam skint at the moment however its more for future reference.
Also on another topic as Iam currently based in Birmingham, (Really should post a new thread for this, but what the hell ) and Ive been playing just for fun at the Omega Sektor centre occasionally. However a couple of players that I know from other places are interested in coming down and having a LAN party there. Its still up in the air at the moment but we aim to have one there before Christmas hopefully. Iam planning to go speak to the management probaly on Thursday, to find out booking prices ect. The lan party will only be for fun however I see no reason why we cant have a mini tornament for small stakes possibly with the excess funds being put towards the AoP server.
Basically I just want to ask for the blessing of the God fathers.....thats you Poontang and Skeletor, and the clan too, to involve AoP in future planning of this event.
Kind Regards to all
Oglaigh

Hmm sounds good..LAN party has been tossed up before then just died...could be good to see you all lol
Re: Donation, Payment Types and LAN party
Yeah I did toss it up before.
But about the lan party idea
I think it was more the fact that people didn't want to drag their computers half way across the country which is fair enough, and with my new case weighing in at over 20kg now, it is a bit of a pain to move.
But if enough are interested and it is financially viable I would be willing.
As for server funds, you can always send off cash or cheque to sparksy or myself and we will pass it on to server fund, then you will be given admin.

Hi Skeletor
Basically the venue Iam talking about is purpose built for LAN parties/ Gamers, so the machines are allready there and they are quite new and hi spec (gaming mouses, headphones, decent screens ect...) And as the place has only been open a few months the PCs are top class . Heres the website http://www.omega-sektor.com/ . I cant seem to find group booking prices so I will have a word with the manager at some point tomorrow. More Importantly I need to check if the on-site bar is finished yet! Its pretty central in Birmingham and a 5 min walk from eithre New Street Station or Snow Hill/ Moor Street. (lol mark it in google earth for refrence)
Iam thinking about an all day event in December, possibly during the first or second weekend in December...A Christmas LAN party so to speak
Anyhow I will see how tomorrow go's tomorrow and hopefully get some good quotes
Talk to you then
