Test drove the new Mondeo

Went for a test drive in the new Mondeo earlier. Was the 2.0l TDCi Ghia, 4 door.

What a car to drive. Either a really good car or my old car is feeling it's age. The brakes actually work when you put your foot on the pedal. In the Astra you have to put your foot down quite a bit before anything happens.

Looks like I will be getting a my new car soon

Only problem is you can be waiting between 3 weeks to 12 weeks for one to become available.

Its prob the smoothest car i have driven, drives better than my bosses new 5 series bmw too imo. So is it just a case of waiting for an ex demo model to become available then skel?

Well my dad's friend's son wasn't there today, but my details have been passed on to him, so I will go in another time and speak to him about what I want, then he will let me know when something comes available. Then it is just a matter of getting as much of a deposit as possible.

There was a really nice ex-demo 2.0l TDCi Zetec there, only problem was that it was white. I don't want to have to maintain a white car. But to give the car credit, not many cars look good in white, but this one did.

Bought the Mondeo.

That ex-demo 2.0l turned out to be a 1.8l. Went out in it to see what it was like and the 1st gear was a bit slower, but once you are in second you can't tell the difference.

So I bought it. In white, looks gorgeous.
