could try leaving it off near a radiator (not on), but i think the damage is already done.

Has it got wet at all, i used to fix tv's videos monitors etc and it looks like water ingress between the layers to me...

Yeah,as soon as i got home from work give it a proper wipe down and everything
the big black bit covering the start menu has gone now and looks like it's just drying out inside or something
no idea but the smaller 1 is still there :(

I'll see what it's like by tomorrow

When electrical equipement gets wet the best thing to do is leave it off for a couple of days and let it dry, you shouldn't even turn it on to see what it's like.

After a couple of days then see what it's like, if its just water inbetween the LCD layers, it may have dried and it's no longer a problem.

Not sure what the acid in the rain would do to the layers though, the plastic inside may be damaged.
