Bloody Dell Again !

Iam over at my parents for the easter holidays at the moment and it appears the machine I did fix over Christmas is fucked up again

Error occurs when luanching the map or entering the server

Engine Error: 1 Direct3Ddevice9::Present

Anyone recognise this error ?

Would appear to be Graphic card related,
Card is a Geforce 7300 LE

Read about this error on a website. The solution which was given is updating drivers.
Maybe it works for you?

Yeah I would say updating drivers is likely to fix that. If not get the latest DirectX off Windows Update or off the Microsoft Download site.

Managed to sort it out, seems some one reinstalled a xp codec pack again. Just need to reposition the router tomorrow and I should be able to play normally again.
