Yeah but for every one happy life smoker, another dies a cruel horrible and avoidable death. If smoking only serves scientifically speaking to increase risks such as these, why chance it ?

TBH I didn't think that the smoking ban was that important health wise. The good thing about it is that my clothes don't smell after leaving a pub now.

Right. I'm going out to have a cig, brb. (serious post). Doesn't matter whether or not he got whatever diseases he had due to smoking because every case is different. As blaze said people that smoke can get really old. It's a matter of how the body reacts to it and can dispose of toxins and so on. If you get some sort of disease, too bad, there's the risk, but there's a majority of smokers that don't. There's no 100% chance of getting cancer really. Right. Blaze, you up for a cig?
