England played quite well actually. They were clearly going to be happy with the draw. It doesn't matter if we finish 1st or 2nd in the group either because with Spain & Italy drawing we will likely be facing either of them in the quarters should we progress.

Milner is indeed crap. Missed an open goal in first half after rounding the keeper. He was off balance and it was on his left foot so fair enough it wasn't easy. The thing that frustrates me though is that he's a professional footballer. He knows he isn't going to score (or should do) and if he had just trapped the ball and stayed on his feet chances are he would have had an easy square ball to whoever it was running in at the back post. There is just no excuse. He was shit down the wing apart from two crosses, the second won the corner and the first summed him up. He turned the defender and whipped a cross in to nobody. It just shows a player is shite when his team mates don't gamble on going into the box because they weren't expecing anything!

Parker is good at what he does but with Gerrard and Parker both playing I don't see us winning any games. We're less likely to lose but not likely to win and defeinitely not by more than one goal. Fair enough we don't want to go crazy attacking all day but we need more threat. Young was ineffective too apart from his through ball to the donkey Milner. I would expect Milner to be dropped when Rooney is back and Young put on the wing. Welbeck was class up front for such a young lad.

I would like to see Defoe and Welbeck start against Sweden with Young on the wing. Apparently Michael Owen tweeted that 5 points should see us through the group, well that might be the case but I would rather beat Sweden and now that a draw will do against Ukraine that have all the pressure on the last game. Would also be nice for Rooney to be back with less pressure so he can start the game calmly.

Oh and lastly, Glen Johnson is shite. Why Micah Richards refused to go on the reserves list I will never know. He should have been in the original squad considering he can play RB and CB. I would rather see Phil Jones there than Johnson in the next game.

And please drop Terry just because he is a prick. I don't care if he is good or not.

I would like to give a view on Sweden and Ukraine but I didn't watch the game and have no idea of the score, last I heard it was 1-1, which it probably finished. Gonna watch highlights now.

Oooh, forgot to say, the ref was a complete joke. Cabaye must have made about 4 or 5 fouls in the first half including two trips when we were on the break and didn't get a booking. Complete joke. Nasri the same tripped up Oxlade when he was about to break, a real cynical challenge and he gave nothing. Oxlade got booked for one slightly hard slide tackle and I think someone else did who only came on as a sub. How that Gerrard free kick wasn't given I will never know and there were a few more like it throughout. Thank god Andy Carroll didn't play as he would have had fouls on him given against him, like Crouchy used to get in international games.

Ireland, you let me down. Croatia looked a lot better than I thought they would but was it just that Ireland were crap? We'll know more after the 2nd round of games I guess. Fingers crossed for England tomorrow. I seriously don't know which way to call it although I think we're favourites?
