Delete the nav file, run it then generate the nav file which should start the generation from the CT spawn which it should pick up a lot easier (although that might not work as they spawn in 2 separate rooms rather than one location (but office is fine, but I guess Valve did the mesh manually). Then I will just have to do the T spawn manually and stop the bots jumping on the train.
I think they might have trouble jumping on and over the train stops too which means the only way around the train is either upstairs or through the gap at the other end of the train which will funnel them down and easy to kill.
Really annoying as all my other maps have picked up the bot mesh with ease and has worked quite well.
If you delete the nav file and start the map in CSS with bots it will generate the nav file automatically (I know this it no news). I expect it doesn't make a difference if the spawn points are in 2 separate rooms or just in one. Can imagine during the creation of the nav file only walkable spaces will be calculated. Nothing to do with spawn points imo.
The train stops might be a problem, but you can always alter the nav file to fix those specific spots.
I'll have a look into this. I've never built a map before either, is that Hammer thing easy to use or what? I am just interesting in getting some ideas down more than actually creating a working map but still worth asking .

It's about as easy as being a brain surgeon
No, it's not that difficult. There are very useful tutorials on youtube. If you just want to make a basic layout without any fancy stuff, you just have to drag some blocks.
I was bored at work so downloaded Sketchup. No idea on scales and things, I think this map is 200m2 or something. No idea if you have to define levels or things either but I made a "model" anyway. A very grey model but a model none the less. Where can I upload this thing to show?

I found a "scale" option. Funny how that works really lol. Anyway, I'll see about sending it later, I have two versions now because I didn't email myself the one I was working on last night. I assume just making blocks and sticking things together constitutes a "map" lol. Having no experience with these things it's been quite interesting!
