how can i play dvd-r on my pc. it will play dvd or dvd+r/rw but any dvd-r/rw it comes up as no info on disk ???

Get a DVD drive that will play DVD-r's...

fitted it ...... bit of a mess with the tangly wires inside... silly psu. had to move hd up as the sata bit wouldnt reach both things... and i found the othe ata lead thingy. Bastards dont like to give you screws to hold it all in place do they,.. had to nick a couple from the floppy.

also my internet dsl modem went tits up at the weekend and the other router i have which uses the ethernet plug got pulled out. ... it couldnt find the port in the pc to set it up.... turns out it doesnt work... must have been broke since i first had the pc.. but never used it before so never knew.

bought a ethernet socket on a pci card... and it works fine and faster...

my fat hands dont like mucking about inside pcs ... they are ..we ll to fat.... but its all ok... just like lego really.. cant go wrong :)
