I invested (somehow) nearly 60 hours in that game since xmas. Then out of nowhere side missions/quests stopped popping up , i blew up Linderman's voice (the enclave president) and within about 15minutes of havin a big lumbering ogre as a partner (i didnt use any partners except that bird in the archives cos i felt too guilty to kill her for her super smg) i killed myself in a radioactive chamber. Thanks for the warning! I didnt even get to say bye to dogmeat who was waiting at vault 101 for me.
Fantastic game, was brilliant fun, what a shit ending though.
And i wanted to try and go through it again doing things differently but i think i exhausted nearly everything the first time through (plus collecting bobbleheads etc).
It's such a frustrating gameworld when you start over because you just want to go here, there and everywhere you have before but instead you get killed by a mole rat.
I think it will be very hard to play it again from the start, you really do need to start out naive and not knowing anything to get the best out of it. Havnt sorted any DLC yet but im confused about that since im already dead in the story line. Heard Operation Anchorage was crap and The Pitt is a bit better but again nothing special. Plus the best new weapon was a melee one which i havnt trained in at all.....
Fallout 3
Re: Fallout 3
Haven't played Fallout 3 but have heard good and bad things about it. The developers of it do seem to be on the ball though and say the right things in the press.

Re: Fallout 3
Can't decide whether it is going to be worth investing in the GoTY edition for the DLC or not. Been a long time since i played Fallout and I am torn between buying the DLC before New Vegas comes out and just using my current level 20. I'm still pissed i can't reassign skill points or SPECIAL stats in any way....
Also, anyone played Fable 2? Fable 2 and Gears of War 2 are 2 for £25 on play.com at the moment.

My brother has played Fable 2, think he liked it. GoW2 is alright, depends if you like the over-shoulder view.

OT: Palace vs Leicester tonight...going to be another dull match at Selhurst, but should be 3 points to you.

Re: Fallout 3
Funny that, on the foxestalk website poll i voted for a loss. We arent that great away from home and every team with a bit of form seems to lose against the (no offence) shitter teams).
It's quite interesting to hear people actualy look at us as a strong side when i still see so many weaknesses. Yet we're 5th in the table. Great season for us whatever happens now, dont know if i can face the agony and heartache of the play offs! Feel sorry for you guys and now Warnock has left I dont need to carry a burning hatred towards Palace Cant stand that bloke.
