Start IE in safe mode.
Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (Safe Mode)
or something like that.

Re: help??
Either a corrupt registry or some malware. Try downloading MalwareBytes and seeing what that finds. If it is a corrupt registry, just reinstall Windows, in can be a pain in the arse to sort out a corrupt registry.

Re: help??
I'm not bothered with that PC now anyway. My laptop and me are just fine playing my old games (my laptop might be a few years behind compared to most rigs but so am i with what games i have played) so i couldnt care for that piece of crap in the hall anymore.

Fair enough.
Have you got the router yet? Forgot to ask my brother what postage option he chose.

Re: help??
You will also need to reset it as it will have all my settings on it at the moment.
Plug in to power, wait for a min or so for it to start up. Get a paper clip and press the little black button at the back and hold it for 10 seconds or so, a new light should start flashing on the front. Release the button, and wait for the router to restart.
After a minute or so, you should be able to log in by going to http://192.168.0.1 (may be http://192.168.1.1 can't remember). Username and password are on the box itself, I think. Something like username admin, password virgin, or username virgin, password password.
