Re: TRANSPARENCY IN PHOTOSHOP
When you go in to the channels section, when you click your transparency channel it should make the background a slightly transparent red. If it is then save as TGA (Targa) remembering to tick alpha channel box.
Re: TRANSPARENCY IN PHOTOSHOP
ok so i pick the new window and pick transparent background.
i then tit about and get the pic in the middle of the background.
i then delite the background ??? and go to channells/ open new channel/ but the alpha channel is black ???

Re: TRANSPARENCY IN PHOTOSHOP
Did you do a selection of the image that you cut out? If you do, the alpha channel should be black with a white area where your image is.
Re: TRANSPARENCY IN PHOTOSHOP
i just draged a picture onto the transpaerant background and warped it... put a drop shadow behind it... then opened a alpha channel... but its completly black.
so i need to select the warped picture first then ?... cant belive ive forgot it all already

Yup, within layers, press and hold Ctrl + Shift and click on each layer. Then go into channels and click the alpha channel button.
