Here is the latest update from Wendy Dio:

"Ronnie has been diagnosed with the early stages of stomach cancer. We are starting treatment immediately at the Mayo Clinic. After he kills this dragon, Ronnie will be back on stage, where he belongs, doing what he loves best, performing for his fans.

Thanks to all the friends and fans around the world that have sent well wishes. This has really helped to keep his spirit up.

For the people who actually know who dio is that probably being me and skel but thought i would post for everyone incase some others know dio and enjoy his music.

depends were he has it really on whether he has a good chance of getting rid of it... cancer is a fucking hard one to kill off... after all its just your own body telling the cells to grow like that...

My grandmother died at the beginning of the month due to cancer. Not a lot you can do with some types.

Yeah, knew about it for over a year, my other grandmas been suffering from various forms of cancer for the last 10 years or so and still going strong.

I am sure Dio will be fine if it hasn't spread yet.
