Went today. Was actually very enjoyable. Some funny bits some semi-sad bits (no one likes to see a monkey get hurt ) and generally an enjoyable good film. Wasn't bored at any point so that's a good thing to start with.
A solid 4 out of 5 that one.
edit:
I'm gonna give it 4 1/2 just because its got a gorilla and an orangutan in it as well.

Was in 2 minds about this or should i say if it was going to be cheesy or not but from what you've said i'll
have to watch it
have to watch it
Re: Rise of The Planet of The Apes
What about a bonobo? But that would make the film a 15 or 18.

4 1/5 bit to much me thinks, starts off slow and doesnt explain the story of the original till after the start of the credits!!! ( at the end of the movie )

Yeah but I like the fact it isn't stuck being tied to the originals. I still haven't watched the Mark Wahlberg one and don't have any plans to really.METRIC wrote:4 1/5 bit to much me thinks, starts off slow and doesnt explain the story of the original till after the start of the credits!!!
