FF VII Remasterd

Post by METRIC »

Seen a post on Kotaku regarding it. But it retartdly linked to the Bootleg that has the broken MegaUpload links.

So - do yo want me to set up a torrent on this for you? Its well worth the play through again man!

Nah, can't be arsed. Takes ages with torrents.

Can't remember if I deleted the files I did have or not. If not, I can send you some CDs/DVDs, then you can burn the missing files :D

One of the comments on that article:
As tempting as this is, it's not practical for Windows 7 at all due to the instability of the game itself. Adding those mods in will make it even more unstable I assume. And besides, the only way to get an original copy of the PC version nowadays is to torrent it. It would be awesome if Square-Enix re-releases the PC version of FF7 in Steam or something. That way, fans can use Steamworks and we can have all these mods streamlined and playable on modern operating systems.
That would be awesome.

Think it's the 12GB that I am missing.

You got a link to the torrent?

Hopefully that article might make a few more seeds.

Leaving this link for my reference - http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=12503.0

Have found updated Mediafire links although there are a couple which are on Rapidshare which is annoying but I am sure I can find them. Mods folder is sitting at 11GB.

Think that is the last set of files I need, a sound file of some sort. Haven't been at my PC to get it or when I have, I have forgotten to download it.

Luckily most of the files have been reuploaded to Mediafire but that app you sent me hasn't been updated.
