So you are going to Download.

Have fun, remember to bring wellies or waterproof walking shoes. Really shit when you are wet especially with wet feet.

Yep first festival so nerves are getting to me a bit
never been in a crowd that will be as big as this  but yeah should be good
it was hard to choose over download and bloodstock but Megadeth, Sabbath, Machine Head too good to turn down.
I'm going to risk it and I imagine they will be selling them there and if not then I guess I'm fucked :|

Everything that is sold there is expensive. If it is raining, any waterproof items will go up in price even more. Pissing it down at Sonisphere last year but we were well prepared. Pitched on a slight hill under some dense trees, set up a canopy and were able to sit outside with the BBQ while it was pissing it down around us.

Find a local supermarket near the venue, stock up on food and beer before you go to the event. Leave all the shit in the car, pitch your tents, go back to car and bring food/drink (doing it in one go is a pain in the arse).

When you pitch up try and stay away from the paths, if rains those tents get soaked due to the lack of grass to soak it up.

On a different note, the new Cattle Decapitation album is brilliant.

Yeah i expected that to be the case basically a massive rip-off, I'll just buy some cheap wellies
and I've got s a coat which will take a lot of rain so I'm not too bad on that but me and my mate are not prepared
at all.
Only gutting part is we aren't driving down / No car we are getting a coach down and I'm guessing the closest place
will be a bit of a walk so will probably have to accept we'll be losing alot of money on food and drinks plus I have a guy who's hopefully going to save us a spot near them and putting the tent up will probably take us an hour... like i said we are totally unprepared for this

I listened to it the other week and that was it got a bit samey and boring at around Do Not Resuscitate for me.
Have you checked out Bloodshot Dawn and Aborted's new stuff yet?

Didn't know they had any new stuff out. Will check it out.

Tents only take around 15-20 mins to put up.

Global Flatline is Aborted's latest release don't know
how new it is to you been out a few months and think it's Bloodshot Dawn's first album.
The tent we've got is a cunt it's one of them tents you have to put up twice with 2 rooms and a main area plus the
protective shit that's goes over it all.

Ah Mort brought one of them to Sonisphere last year. I had my own tent, put it up and laughed at them trying to get their tent up in the rain. Bag was pretty heavy, and it does take a bit of time to put up.

Queues to the shitters wasn't too bad last time, the time before I held it in. Being a bloke means you can use the urinals so no queuing required. Or you could do what Mort did and shit in a box then throw it over a fence.

There were no bags of piss that I saw either. There were shit loads of bottles and half eaten currys being lobbed between the two sides (crowd is split in to two at the front for "safety")
