they are really good.. bit costumey at first but full on gangster stuff when it gets going

I have got seasons 1-3 but haven't had the time to watch them. Same for the wire.

I gave up on this show after attempting to watch Season 1, I found it boring and took too long to get interesting although I'm sure it gets better after the first season

it does start slow.... but this season got off to a really violent start as it goes... worth watching..and its all true apart from a couple of fictional people and name changes they were all real people

as for the wire .. its just superb..albeit a little dated now.
