bf4

Post by sparksy »

got it last weekend... much the same as bf3 .. only with better enviroment graphics... like one map is at sea..starts of calm .....then the sea gets stormy and it rains and stuff... plus you can dive when swimming..which helps if gay snipers at trying to shoot you. :D

What about the straight snipers?

It does look good from what I have seen of it.

Apparently IGN said it was better than COD: Ghosts but ended up giving COD a higher score.

Probably because CoD has some sort of Single Player. All Battlefield reviews I've seen apart from the odd one have said the BF4 SP is pretty crap and pointless. Not sure about Ghosts, haven't owned a CoD game since Modern Warfare and only played MW2 because I borrowed it off my cousin for xbox.

I saw a video on Youtube of the Ghost ending and it was exactly the same animation with different textures as one of their previous games. If they put that much effort in to the ending I doubt the single player had that much thought put in to it.

i havent tried ghosts.. but i thought the last cod was very manic on multiplayer... all small maps with to many people on them. BF3 and BF4 have huge maps so you have to use vehicles .. ill stick to BF4/3 and css for gameplay i reckon...

CS:S is still the bomb.
I'd like BF4 to be good but with all those massive server counts and things I have always found them difficult to get involved with. A bit like Planetside 2. You never really feel like you're making all that much difference.

CSS/COD are very similar in that they are fast paced and rounds don't last long. I remember playing COD:MW when it first came out and getting well over 100 kills in a short time due to the small maps and fast pace of the game and that was on a quiet server.

I've only played a bit of BF2 (I think). It was a lot slower which is good in one way but it was quiet boring unless you had just the right amount of people on the map.

Planetside 2 was a mess. Played for 20 minutes and think I only killed 1 person.

Maybe we should start a CSS clan and get a server that we can all play on...

Maybe if we can extend the week to 12 days rather than 7 and days to 36 hours rather than 24 hours and I may have some time.
