Re: Seaside at the weekend. Need help
Well i have to say. If its good weather (in other words, wait till last minute) Bournemouth is pretty good.
I will go back there with a group of lads i reckon. In the day there is a bit to do, the beach is decent (water looks clean as well but south coast usually is compared to further north or the east coast). At night there was loads of bars and clubs to go to, and the male to female count didnt looks to shabby either.
Hotels fucking everywhere, just a bit expensive i reckon, £65-£75 minimum for B&B.
Impressed though, really was. Nice town, decent bars, decent beach/water and what looked like decent night life.
This year i've been Blackpool (shit hole), Gt. Yarmouth (OK), Weymouth (good) and Bournemouth on the coast. Bournemouth and Weymouth are the only ones I would go back to in a hurry.
Thing i like about Bourne/Weymouth is that there is a "town centre" if you like thats away from the sea front, so you get the best of both worlds. Gt. yarmouth only has a few shops off the sea front and Blackpool you'll prolly get stabbed if you leave the sea front except near the tower (it was better when i went when i was 18 but that was 5 years ago).
Anyway, prolly nobody will read this but basically wanted to say Bournemouth is alright and worth a weekend piss up in my opinion.
