Re: Euro 2012
Torres just proved to me that he is a class player. I hope he does well for Chelsea this year. Not because I like Chelski but I like to see good players do well. I also hope Rooney has a shit season so he doesn't get auto selected for England.

Re: Euro 2012
Even if Rooney plays shit (which you know he won't as Rooney understands Scottish) he will still be in the England team just like Beckham used to be.
That brings me nicely on to Team GB. Pearce is a joke. From memory I think there are only 2 Championship players in the 18-man squad and they are only Championship players because their clubs got relegated. Youngsters rotting away in a reserve team for a Premiership club is somehow better than actively playing Championship players.
Stuart Pearce, "Form plays a big part in my picks."
Danny Rose 2011/12: 0 apps
Wilf Zaha 2011/12: 47 apps, 9 goals, 5 assists

Re: Euro 2012
I hate how he said today that every other player has the "burning desire" that Beckham does. Well Beckhams burning desire would absolutely mean he would have been on the England standby list, Micah Richards burning desire said "fuck off I'm going on holiday".

Re: Euro 2012
Not really bothered about the individuals, it is more down to how Pearce has conducted himself and his statements make no sense i.e. players in form but chooses players who haven't played competitively all season.BlacKBlazE wrote:Guess I'm the only one who doesn't care poor old Becks didn't get picked?
